1. Event & contract
The World Congress of Lymphology (“Congress”) is planned for 15th to 18th September 2027, subject to programme and venue confirmation. Your registration constitutes an agreement with the organizing secretariat on the terms published at the time of payment.
2. Registration & delegate status
Registration categories, fees, and entitlements are as published on the official website. You must provide accurate information. The secretariat may refuse or cancel registration in cases of fraud, misconduct, or capacity limits, with remedy as set out in the refund policy.
3. Payment
All amounts are charged in the currency stated at checkout unless otherwise specified. You are responsible for any bank or card fees. Access credentials and badges are issued only after successful payment where prepayment is required.
4. Conduct & safety
Delegates, faculty, and exhibitors must behave professionally and comply with venue rules, applicable laws, and policies on harassment, discrimination, and research integrity. The organizing committee may remove any person from the venue without refund for serious breach.
5. Scientific programme & materials
Programme titles, times, and speakers may change. Slides, handouts, and recordings (if offered) are for personal educational use unless a speaker or sponsor expressly permits wider distribution. Unauthorised commercial recording or streaming of sessions is prohibited.
6. Intellectual property
Congress branding, websites, and curated content are protected. Abstracts and posters remain the intellectual property of their authors; by submitting, you grant the organizers a licence to publish, display, and archive submissions for scientific and promotional purposes related to the Congress.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the organizers, committees, hosts, and sponsors are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, or personal injury except where such exclusion is unlawful. Delegates arrange their own travel insurance.
8. Force majeure
If the Congress is postponed, relocated, materially shortened, or cancelled due to events beyond reasonable control (including public health emergencies, natural disasters, or government action), remedies will follow the published cancellation and refund policy and any delegate notice issued at that time.
9. Governing law & disputes
These terms are governed by the laws applicable in India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts at Chennai, Tamil Nadu, shall have non-exclusive jurisdiction unless mandatory consumer protections in your home country provide otherwise.
